Investors Still Getting Mortgages

Good credit seems to be the key for those investors who are choosing to obtain mortgages in the current market. Homeowners and investors continue to battle high rates and low home values to make a buck, but some are taking the chance with hopes of big payoffs. Buyers that have a good credit rating are beginning to see a trend; while housing values are down, snatch up as many as possible. If they can’t sell it quick, put a renter in there for a few months until they find someone who will buy.
Some creative lending, along with decreasing numbers of apartments available, makes the scenario a valid idea for investors. Many apartment complexes are being converted to condos and are selling for more than the average renter can afford. In move investors with good credit, a little money and a lot of hope. Buy a house for less than market value, finance 100% and, if you can’t flip it, rent it until a buyer comes along. Before too many people take the chance though, remember that there is one integral part of the equation; good credit.
