\r\nBased in Fairfax, Virginia, 1st American Mortgage has taken a step towards better direct sales by utilizing UCN, Inc. software and technology. UCN announced that the company was delivered inContact, technology and support specifically to support 1st American Mortgage’s direct response marketing initiatives. The lender is available for mortgages in 25 states, as well as parts of Mexico, and specializes in residential lending. The current market has led 1st American to specialize in less-than-perfect credit loans, and resulted in the need for direct marketing.\r\n
UCN was consulted when it was noticed that 1st American could not handle and support the amount of inbound calls they received. The previous technology could not be routed to appropriate loan consultants, and if the person were absent from their desk, would continue to ring until the person calling hung up. The answer was inContact, a system that uses the old phones, but supplements the existing system with the ability to rout, monitor and report calls. The system was functional in a little more than a month, and cost half the amount of replacing the company’s whole telecommunication system.\r\n
